Add the repository to your sources.list.d directory.

$ echo "deb [arch=amd64] https://brave-browser-apt-release.s3.brave.com/ stable main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release.list

Step #3

Now type the following command to Update apt and install the Brave Browser package.

$ sudo apt update && sudo apt install brave-browser

How to Uninstall Brave Browser from Ubuntu 20.04

For some reason, If you want to uninstall Brave Browser, type the following command.

$ sudo apt remove brave-browser

Also, remove the leftover packages with the autoremove command.

$ sudo apt autoremove

Now, the Brave repository is still added along with its GPG key. You may leave it as it is or you may delete them.

$ sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/brave-browser-release.list*

Note: You may also search and find its GPG key and delete it.
